20 lb. Worthington LP tank. This vertical aluminum tank comes with a Type 1 valve and an Overfill Protection Device as are now required on all tanks (as of April 2002).

Approximately 20.75" tall and 12.25" in diameter. Tare weight of just over 14 pounds.

It is unpolished and boxed. SHIPPING BY UPS GROUND ONLY.

We use these almost exclusively when replacing tanks on vintage trailers, or new trailers as well. They save a fair amount of weight over steel tanks, and are easy to handle when it's time to get them filled. The quality is always excellent, although some have a nicer, smoother overall finish than others. We select the smoother ones for polishing. These make a great addition to a vintage Airstream, polished or not. A big bonus of the aluminum is that it doesn't spark when struck with a tool or rock. Which is nice considering there's propane in the vicinity.

Replacement tanks for 1966 Airstream	October 13, 2008

My old tanks had been certified several times and I wanted to install new ones just for peace of mind. I received two 20 lb. tanks that two propane dealers could not fill. I was told the valves were defective. Both Vintage Trailer Supply and the tank manufacturer backed up the product and two replacements were sent at no additional charge. Steve at Vintage Trailer Supply arranged to have UPS pick up the first two tanks. These new tanks look great on the trailer and I am very satisfied. Super customer service!
