I installed this unit in my 65 Caravel. It took me about 5 hours, and was quite easy. I made a tray with my metal break in case I had any leaks. I used it on a two week trip and it worked flawlessly. I highly recommend it. I wrote an article for Airstream Forums with details of the installation.

Installed this in my 66 Caravel. Surprisingly easy job. The old one slid out after disconnecting. I had an aluminum tray fabricated to set this in in case of any leaks. The Atwood fit in nicely. Works great . Nice to have the electronic ignition at the flip of a switch. Highly recommended
