Blind rivets and blind riveting tools are used when you are riveting from one side of the material without access to the back side of the material. This type of riveting is often called "pop" riveting, but it includes specialty blind rivets, like Olympic shaveable rivets. Blind rivets are normally installed with manual rivet tools.
