After you've removed the oxidation from your Airstream or other alclad aluminum trailer, you can bring out a high shine with this remarkable dual head polisher.

The Cyclo Dual Head Orbital Polisher has twin 4" heads that oscillate in unison causing the entire head to move with the same velocity. The polisher's dual orbital motion simulates gentle hand-rubbed quality and virtually eliminates burning, gouging and even swirl marks.

The Cyclo comes with stock hard rubber heads. To do anything with the tool, you need to cover the heads with something. For polishing bare aluminum, you will need to attach a pad holder and a foam pad to each head. The pad holders are like rubber boots on the heads. The foam pads go on the pad holders and act as soft cushions that provides the correct backing for your cotton polishing bonnets or cloth. Only the cotton will touch your aluminum trailer, not the foam.

There are two choices for how to attach the foam pads to the pad holders: velcro or pre-glued. The velcro setup is more expensive since you are buying pad holders and pads separately, but it allows for you to change the foam pads if they wear out. The pre-glued version has a foam pad permanently glued directly to a pad holder without any velcro. When the foam pad wears out, you buy a new pre-glued holder and pad.

Because the foam pads wear out very slowly when they are used solely as a backing for cotton bonnets, we recommend the less expensive pre-glued version, unless you plan to use polish directly on the foam pads (like when compounding car paint).

All bonnets, pads and brushes are sold separately. When used with optional brushes, the Cyclo is also a terrific carpet, upholstery, and hard surface shampooer and scrubber.
