This operator fits very well using the original mounting holes and operates smoothly with our nylon friction sliders (sold separately). The stamped gears are superior to the original cast mechanism so that it will not strip. The only practical limitation of this operator is that the window will not open as far as with the original. Since it is the only replacement available, it's a limitation we'll have to live with at this time.
