RemovALL™ 220 is a brushable water-based paint and plasticoat remover that is biodegradable, non-toxic, user-friendly and environmentally safe. It is made in Australia and difficult to find, but worth it.

RemovALL™ 220 is effective in removing tough industrial coatings from metal.  It may be effective on other non-porous surfaces like concrete, masonry and brick but should be tested prior to large area application. We sell it because vintage Airstream owners have found it to be the best product for removing plasticoat from their trailers before polishing.

The manufacturer, Freeworld Coatings Ltd, says that one gallon will cover 40-90 square feet when stripping paint. We've found that two gallons is enough to remove the plasticoat from most larger vintage trailers and one gallon will do a mid-size or small trailer. Of course, the age, composition and thickness of the plasticoat will ultimately determine how thick you will need to apply it. We recommend testing a small area of your trailer first, to determine how thick to apply it.
