Solid aircraft style rivets must be installed while having access to both the front and back sides of the rivet. These are the rivets originally used to build the shells of Airstreams and other aircraft-style vintage trailers. They are the best replacement rivet, but not always the most convenient to use. Normally installed with a pneumatic rivet gun and a bucking bar, but can be squeezed by hand in some situations.
