Etched aluminum just like the original. It makes an excellent replacement if yours is gone or significantly faded. Take the plate to your local engraver and have them put your trailer's serial number on it. For best results, take your old plate with you and ask them to engrave the new plate deeply with letters and numbers of the same size.
