I have 2 of these on the walls of my 1963 Overlander. They cast a very comfortable and bright light. These aren't mood lights, though, we can read and work on the dinette without additional lighting. They have a switch on the bottom. The lamp housing is very nicely made, and the chrome job is superb. One drawback is that the lamp shades are held on to the light bulb with wire clips, which move easily while travelling. But they are easy to adjust once you get to your destination. I think these are a good buy, and a nice timeless fit for a vintage trailer or boat.
