This grommet was originally used on Hehr Standard windows which used gear type operators. The grommet is installed on the vertical steel backframe channel between the operator base and the insect screen.

Ours is an exact reproduction of the original, except we made it from stainless steel because the originals were not and all got rusty. No need to paint before installation.
