This authentic new Hehr non-operable aluminum window is perfect for making modifications to your vintage trailer.
Vintage Trailer Supply acquired these stationary windows as surplus from the 2015 reissue of the 1961 Shasta Airflyte. They were originally used on the front of the trailer as the left and right fixed windows on either side of the operable center window. They are installed with putty tape under the flange and then screwed into the skin of the trailer.
Vintage looking, square corner (non-radiused) mill aluminum frame windows are no longer available new. This uncommon acquisition will be a great problem solver for many vintage trailers requiring modification.
The glass is bonded into the mill finish aluminum frame. Some of the bonding sealant may be squeezed out a bit where it will need to be trimmed. As these windows have been sitting for a few years at the Shasta factory, expect a few light scratches on frames that can be removed with steel wool or polishing compounds.
Part that sets into the rough opening:
Drip caps are always a good addition to any window.
