This kit includes the three parts that create the hold back latch for the main door on Airstreams from 1975 to present. The parts are the slider, the base and the spring.

These three parts must be used under an aluminum housing. The housing is sold separately as our VTS-1427 (see links at right).

The plain black plastic slider for the early 1970s Airstreams is obsolete. If you have an early 1970s Airstream with a broken slider, you will need to change out all the parts and buy the aluminum cover too.
