Grade C is a light compounding polish. It is not as coarse as F7, G6 or F9, so do not start with it if your trailer is seriously oxidized. 

We recommend using it to prepare for use of Grade S after heavy compounding with F7 or F9, or to touch up a trailer that has been polished in recent years but has some noticeable oxidation returning. 

Grade C will also remove the cloudy/hazy white background (called “undercast”) and other surface dullness found in many otherwise good polish finishes.
