G6 is unique in the Nuvite lineup because its high-tech abrasive system is designed to break down while it is in use. It does a quick, aggressive oxidation cut, and immediately breaks down to a finer cut, similar to Grade C. This makes it a good first cut for moderately oxidized trailer and also a good prep for Grade S if starting with Grade F9. 

We find it can be used instead of Grade F7 if you are comfortable with the way it changes while it is working. It can also be used to blend light surface scratches. Some people like to use G6 for polishing stainless steel, too.
