Vintage trailers use slotted screws. These hard-to-find #8 and #10 slotted sheet metal screws were used by Airstream in the 1960s and earlier on the ends of drip caps and to attach trim to the trailer.

These are available in both 1/2" and 3/4" lengths in size #8, as well as 3/4" length in size #10, and all have pan heads. They are made of 300 series stainless steel.
