Threaded rivets are very handy for creating strong screw connections in sheet metal. They are installed with an inexpensive tool similar to the way pop rivets are installed.
Threaded rivets come in a number of styles. We have chosen to offer splined aluminum Nutserts. Nutserts offer several advantages over other versions.
The splined body provides increased torque-to-turn resistance over conventional non-splined inserts. Unsplined versions can spin if they are not tight.
The low-profile head provides near-flush seating without special hole preparation.
The internal threads are rolled into the product creating a work-hardened surface providing high-strength, load-bearing threads.
The lead-in chamfer on the body provides ease of insertion into the work piece.
We offer nutserts in three commonly needed sizes. Read below for the specifications of each:
8-32 Thread
10-24 Thread
1/4-20 Thread
