When you use nontoxic antifreeze to winterize your trailer, you will need this high quality bypass system to avoid filling your entire water heater with antifreeze. Your water heater can be drained easily so it is best to not waste antifreeze in it.

Just install this two-valve bypass system at the inlet and outlet of the water heater and each year when it is time to prepare for winter, just turn the valves to the "BY-PASS" setting. The brass valves are clearly marked and the reinforced flexible hose is sized for either a 6 gallon or a 10 gallon tank. Instructions are on the packaging, so it is an easy do-it-yourself job.

Valves have NPT connections. If you have an older water heater with flare fittings on it, you will need to adapt.
