Our premium quality drill bits are precisely sized for aircraft riveting. We offer a carefully selected variety of sizes perfectly suited for sheet metal work and riveting. 

Each of the sizes we carry have a specific purpose. Most of the bits are wire gauge size and are marked with #s instead of fractional sizes. Wire gauge drill bits are used where more precisely sized holes are required because diameters fall between standard fractional sizes. With wire sizes, the lower the number #, the larger the diameter.

All our bits have 135º split points. Split point bits center better, especially when trying to drill out dome head rivets. Split points are also better for drilling sheet metal because they don't "walk" as much as standard point bits.

Our bits are heavy duty and made of M2 high speed steel (HSS) with a black and gold oxide finish. Although they are high quality bits, they will wear faster when drilling metal than you may be used to seeing when drilling wood. We recommend always using sharp bits so we sell in packs of 12 (all the same size within a pack).  Buy more than one pack if you are doing a lot of work.
