This 48" long all aluminum "piano" hinge is strong and offers good corrosion resistance. That's why we use it on both versions of our stone guards.
It is made of 5052 alloy and .050" thick, it is sturdy enough to do virtually anything you need it to on your trailer.
It lays 1-1/2" wide when opened flat. You'll be glad there are no holes in it so you can drill it to match your exact needs. The full range of motion is 270°.
