Our soft rubber grommets are great for passing wiring or small tubes through sheet metal holes. They line the inside of the hole to prevent the sharp sheet metal from abrading the wires or tubes.

They are highly recommended in metal-framed trailers (like Airstreams, Spartans and Avions) inside the walls for passing wires through framing (ribs) or through belly pans.

Just drill a 1/2" or 3/4" diameter hole through the sheet metal and insert the grommet. It will stay in place securely. They can go through material up to .0625, somewhat thicker than a typical sheet of aluminum used in trailers.
