This style of spring loaded entry door hold back latch was used on vintage trailers for more than 50 years.
It was made by the venerable Theodore Bargman company throughout that period. Unfortunately, it was discontinued many years ago.
The original hold back was made of zinc plated steel and after a few years began to rust. We are now reproducing this item in exactly the same dimensions but from 304 stainless steel so that they do not rust or corrode your trailer skin.
The latch can extend out 2" from the mountiing surface. Mounting holes are 1-7/16" apart on the spring latch base.
Includes separate catch and rubber bumper.
