Some Airstreams have a transparent factory coating over the bare aluminum to protect the aluminum from oxidation. This coating is known as plasticoat on older Airstreams and clearcoat in more recent years.

With the older plasticoat, it will break down and start to flake off. To prolong the life of your plasticoat, it is important to maintain it by keeping it clean and applying Walbernize. Walbernize RV Super Seal is recommended by Airstream, Inc. for use on trailers with a plasticoat.

After consultation with the manufacturer of Walbernize and with plasticoat applicators and engineers, we recommend Walbernize RV Super Seal on Airstream plasticoats (or clearcoats) of all ages. We do not recommend using Walbernize Cleaner, Polish & Glaze on any coated trailers because it has a mild grit to it that is not good for the coating. Twice-a-year application will prolong the life of your aluminum coating and keep your trailer looking great.

Walbernize RV Super Seal is unique proprietary formula containing a combination of cleaning, polishing, and glazing ingredients. It is safe for all types of finishes. RV Super Seal quickly and easily removes traffic film and spots of road oil or tar. It provides an easy cleaning and polishing action while simultaneously depositing a deeply reflective, water-proof, glaze finish. RV Super Seal's glaze finish is long lasting and detergent resistant.

Directions for Use:

For best results do not apply RV SUPER SEAL in direct sunlight.

1. Wash and dry vehicle first.
2. Shake well before using. Apply RV SUPER SEAL to the surface using a clean, dampened wax applicator or soft cloth well saturated with RV SUPER SEAL.
3. Apply with a firm, even pressure to a small section ( 3 ft. x 3 ft. ) using a circular overlapping motion.
4. When a dry haze appears, buff with a clean, dry, soft cloth.
