This ready-to-ship 58-1/4" x 14" x 12" tank is typically used to hold fresh water. At approximately 42 gallons, the tank holds a generous amount of fresh water. It is frequently installed under dinette benches or in cabinets, where ample space is available. It has a smart integrated baffle to calm the water if trailer movement forces the water to shift quickly.

The tank comes preconfigured with four (4) polyethylene fittings welded into the ends of the tank. One fitting is a 1-1/2" female threaded hole that protrudes from the tank slightly, allowing a 1-1/2" MPT pipe fitting to screw into it. The 1-1/2" size is ideal for connecting a fresh water gravity fill hose. The other three fittings are 1/2" female threaded holes that protrude slightly from the tank.  The two low fittings are typically used for outlets to your water pump or a drain valve.  The upper 1/2" fitting can be used for an air vent to equalize pressure. See the diagram photo for the placement of the fittings.

The four locations allow for a few different plumbing alignments. When it arrives, you will notice that all the fittings are closed with membranes so the tank is sealed up. The membranes are molded right into the fitting.  You can choose which openings you want to use in your trailer.  To open any threaded fitting, simply drill or cut the membrane out of the center of it.  If you leave them closed, they will never leak.  We do not further customize this tank.

Here's an example of what a pre-installed fitting looks like with the membrane intact.  The membrane is thinner than the tank wall and can be drilled out or cut out with a utility knife.  The photo shows a 1/2" fitting but all sizes of fittings are similar.
