Our window operator, which we affectionately call the Crooked Little Window Operator, is a replacement for the Hehr 008-101 operator used in the center of the small Hehr Standard vent windows (model 618) on 1950s Airstreams, 1950s Silver Streaks, 1960s VW buses, and others. Vent windows are short window less than 10" high. If your window did not have a crooked arm operator on it originally, this is probably not right for you.

The base measures 1/2" wide and 1" high. It is 5-1/2" long and mounting holes are 5-1/8" apart center to center.  See if your holes will line up.

When extended in the fully open position, the length of the arm from the base to the center of the hole in the end is approximately 4-3/8". Some old windows have a version of this arm that is shorter and does not include the straight section at the end near the hole.  If you have that version, you may need to cut this arm shorter and redrill the hole in the tip to get it to work on your window.

We include a swivel handle and one nylon friction pad (VTS-348) for the tip at no charge.

Screws for mounting are not included.
