We are excited to bring this rotary catch and handle back to life. It was originally used as early as the late 1940s and right up through the 1950s. We've seen them in 1940s Curtis Wright and Airstream trailers, early-1950s Kit, and mid-1950s Jewel and other brands. For fun, you can see the old listing of the part from a 1950s trailer parts catalog.
It would look appropriate in any vintage trailer and is an excellent way to secure cabinets and closets.
We've built ours with a solid cast zinc handle that is then triple chrome plated for long life and a great feel in your hand.
