Airstream used Keeler (KBC) locks from 1978 to 1991. Two things wear out regularly on a Keeler lock: the exterior handle and the latchbolt. We've reproduced both parts.
Our reproduction latchbolt is stronger than the original because we've reinforced the two long tabs that often break.
Dimensions: Flat section of latch is 3-1/8" wide. Length of latch is 3-7/8" long from tip of bolt to back of flat section.
NOTE: Does note fit the "Mini-Keeler" used on some Airstreams. To be certain this is correct for your Keeler lock, measure the height of the exterior handle to confirm that it is approximately 4" tall.
The third photo is for reference only. It shows how the handle and spring engage the latchbolt. The handle is available separately and the spring is not currently available.
