This chrome handle is of the style found on many mid-century 1950s and 60s trailers, right up to the mid-1970s. For example, we've seen on mid-50s Cal Craft, mid-60s Shasta, and early-1970s Boler trailers. It was original equipment on Hehr 3200 series trunk doors.
The handle is 4" long and turns to the right (counter-clockwise) to open. Mounting holes are 1-3/4" on center. Requires a 5/8" hole in door.
It features a 5/16" square shaft that extends 4" from the outside surface of the door. The shaft can be cut shorter, if necessary.
Commonly used with our VTS-215 Canned Ham Door Latch
Includes 2 keys.
Old Hehr part number 010-197.
Please check dimensions carefully to be sure it will work on your trailer.
