These bigger stainless steel rivets are much stronger than aluminum pop rivets. Because of their strength, they were often used by Airstream in the 1950s and 1960s to attach door hinges to the trailer body. If you are looking for the rivets that attached the Airstream door hinges to the door (rather than to the body), look at our similar 1/8" stainless rivets.
