This true vintage lever latch was used on many windows and doors in the 1950s and 1960s...even as late as the early 1970s (for example 1971 Silver Streak trailers). It was used on Hehr Standard windows, Hehr Hall-Mark 12 windows and several others. It was used on 1950s and early 1960s Airstream doors to latch the inner "door within a door" screen door cover closed.  It was not used after 1965 on

Mounting holes are approximately 2-3/8" on center, but are elongated to fit a range of mounting hole spacings.

It engaged two different types of catches and they are not sold with it.  We do have the version that was found in the vertical front channels in Hehr Standard windows.  They are our VTS-1824.  We do not have the stamped steel catch used on emergency window sills and along the outer edges of window frames.

Like the original, the latch is made of zinc alloy without plating or paint. Leave it as bare metal, or paint it to match the interior of your trailer.
