This replacement window latch plate is original on many Airstreams from the 1970's up to 2008.

This part should be riveted to the lower edge of the window sash frame. Original rivets were 1/8" semi tubular rivets. Unless you have bucking equipment or a squeezer, you'll need to pop rivet in place.
