This roll formed screen frame is a good substitute for original 1966-68 Airstream extruded screen frames that are no longer available. It is designed as a replacement frame for trailer windows without their own screen mounting channels.
The frame is typically held into the opening by laying the flanges around the frame's perimeter on a flat surface of the interior window frame. It is secured in the opening by turnable screen retainer clips like our VTS-384. The spine faces out.
It is made of white .020" thick aluminum and has a 5/16" flange and have an overall dimension of 1" x 3/8". The white finish may have small scratches and minor flakes due to shipping and handling. They can be spray painted to match your window frame or trailer interior.
Sold in 72" lengths. You will need to miter cut your corners and insert the screen frame corner pieces VTS-095 (sold separately).
Use a .165" spline with aluminum screen or a .185" spline with fiberglass screen.
